The West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office received the results of an audit of state losses in the alleged corruption case of Dompu Regency funds for the 2018 to 2021 budget year worth IDR 1.1 billion.
"Yes, we have received it from the inspectorate. The value of the state loss is Rp. 1.1 billion," said NTB Attorney General's Office Spokesperson Efrien Saputera as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 12.
Following up on the receipt of the audit results, investigators are currently filing a case belonging to the suspect with the initials PT. "When the file has been completed, it will be continued to stage one, the transfer of files to the research prosecutor," he said.
Regarding the results of the audit of state losses received by the prosecutor's office, Inspector of the NTB Inspectorate Ibnu Salim confirmed that this came from his side.
"Yes, the audit has been completed and we have submitted it to the prosecutor's office," said Ibnu.
The suspect with the initials PT in this case is the Chairman of KONI Dompu for the 2017 to 2021 period.
Investigators named PT as a suspect by applying the allegations of Article 2 paragraph (1) and/or Article 3 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law no. 20 of 2001.
With this determination, investigators detained PT at the Class IIA Mataram Prison.
During the investigation process, the prosecutor's office conducted a search. There are two locations, the Dompu Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) Office and the Dompu Education, Youth and Sports Office (Dikpora).
The search was led directly by the Coordinator for the Special Investigation Unit of the NTB Attorney General's Office, Burhanudin. A team from the NTB Prosecutor's Office came down accompanied by the Head of Intelligence at the time of the Dompu Kejari Intelligence Office, Indra Zulkarnain.
Several important documents related to the distribution of grant funds to KONI Dompu have been confiscated. The process of distributing grant funds known through BPKAD Dompu and Dikpora Dompu is the reason for the search.
