DENPASAR - Bali Immigration Office deported foreign nationals (WNA) from the United States because they were desperate to confront and damage the police official car.

"After being detained for 26 days, we finally deported the American foreigner to his home country with the cost of returning who was assisted by his friend," said Denpasar Babay Babanullah, Head of Immigration Detention Center (Rudenim), as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 12.

A US foreigner named Thomas Charles Flach (TCF) was deported via Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport to Los Angeles, USA, on Tuesday (11/7) night.

TCF was only able to be returned to their country after waiting for a fee assisted by a friend to purchase a plane ticket so that he had to be temporarily detained at the Denpasar Rudenim since his arrest on Thursday (15/6).

Before languishing in the Rudenim, the Bali Police named TCF as a suspect related to the alleged criminal act, making feelings of unpleasantness and destruction in accordance with Article 335 and Article 406 of the Criminal Code.

The Bali Police then handed over TCF to the Denpasar Immigration Office for further action in accordance with immigration provisions.

This US citizen is then subject to Article 75 Paragraph 1 of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration which states that Immigration officials are authorized to take immigration administrative action against foreigners in Indonesia who carry out dangerous activities and should be suspected of endangering security and public order or not respecting or disobeying statutory regulations.

Apart from being deported, the 44-year-old man was also on the deterrence list in Indonesian territory.

Under Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration, deterrence can be granted for six months and each time it can be extended for a maximum of six months.

Previously, on Thursday (15/6) TCF had to deal with the police after dealing with the State Police School (SPN) official car on Jalan By Pass Ngurah Rai Sanur Denpasar.

At that time, he was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and a cloth covering his white head suddenly intercepted the police service car.

TCF also broke the car tie at the front and hit the hood of the car.

From the results of the examination, it was found that the action was carried out spontaneously after he lost some of his personal belongings, one of which was a passport.
