Apart from DLH, a number of TNI personnel from Kodim 0826 Pamekasan and the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of the Pamekasan Regency Government also directly inspected the condition of the red river water which was suspected of being polluted with batik dye.

The team headed to the Klampar Reservoir, monitored the condition of the red water and flowed into rivers in Pamekasan, and carried out the crime scene.

A pack of batik dyes that were thought to have been deliberately burned on the edge of the reservoir was found by this joint team and some were thrown into the reservoir.

"The evidence by the team in the field has indeed been found earlier, but the investigation is still ongoing," he said.

For residents who will be proven to dispose of batik dye waste into the river, it is threatened with crime as stipulated in Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management.
