Riau Provincial Government Allocates IDR 4.5 Billion For Incentives 3,800 Kindergarten, PAUD And RA Teachers

RIAU - Riau Islands Provincial Government has prepared a budget of IDR 4.5 billion as incentive assistance for 3,800 Kindergarten-Child Teachers, Early Childhood Education, and Raudlatul Athfal (RA) for all districts/cities in the province. The Governor of Riau Islands, Ansar Ahmad, said that the assistance came from the APBD for the 2023 fiscal year. "Each received an incentive of IDR 1.2 million per year," said Governor Ansar in Tanjungpinang, Antara, Monday, July 3. The governor referred to the provision of this incentive fund as a form of appreciation and gratitude for the support of kindergarten, PAUD and RA teachers in helping to develop early childhood as part of efforts to educate the nation's children. He hopes that these funds will be useful and spur the enthusiasm of children's education teachers in realizing the generation of the Indonesian nation who is smart and noble. "Especially in Riau Islands, I can convey that kindergarten, PAUD and RA teachers are fighters of early childhood intelligence," said Ansar. In addition, said Ansar, the Riau Islands Provincial Government has also allocated funds for grants for houses of worship for all regencies/cities throughout Riau Islands amounting to IDR 94.142 billion for 940 recipients. The assistance aims to complement the facilities of houses of worship in Riau Islands with the aim that the community can further increase faith and comfort in carrying out their worship. "Please pray that the Riau Islands Regional Budget continues to increase, so that similar assistance can be carried out in a sustainable manner," said Ansar. Ansar added that so far his party has provided incentive assistance for teachers and houses of worship in Lingga Regency and Tanjungpinang City. For Lingga Regency, he continued, there were 281 kindergarten, PAUD, and RA teachers receiving incentive funds with a total budget of IDR 337 million. Meanwhile, the grant assistance for houses of worship targeted 79 places of worship with a total budget of IDR 5.3 billion. Meanwhile, in Tanjungpinang City, 443 kindergarten, PAUD, and RA teachers received incentive funds with a total budget of Rp. 531 million. For houses of worship as many as 120 places of worship, with a total budget of Rp. 14 billion.
