Central Jakarta Sub-dept. Of Transportation Ready To Derek Vehicles Parking Carelessly Outside The Kemayoran PRJ Area

JAKARTA - The problem of illegal parking outside the Jakarta Fair 2023 area or Jakarta Raya Week (PRJ) Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran, Central Jakarta is still difficult to eradicate from year to year. The lack of official parking bags is often used by a number of individuals to take advantage by holding illegal parking vehicles on the shoulders of public roads.

"All (parking vehicles) should be inside (Jiexpo)," said Head of the Traffic and Transportation Operational Control Section of the Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department, Haryo Bagus Kusuma Dewa when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, June 14.

Meanwhile, the Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department focused on maintaining the smooth flow of traffic around the JIExpo Kemayoran area.

"We have our duties related to traffic, so we are still preparing toweds in anticipation of illegal parking," he said.

If later there is another illegal parking for four-wheeled vehicles, firm action will be taken in the form of assistants.

"If indeed there will be discretion from the police or from JIExpo, we will follow the command from the Police as well. We will still prepare 5 cranes with 30 personnel to regulate traffic," he said.

Haryo said that there was no road closure and traffic flow engineering around the JIExpo Kemayoran area until this Wednesday afternoon.

As is known, Jakarta Fair 2023 will start opening the longest and largest exhibitions in Southeast Asia at JI-Expo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta on Wednesday, June 14. Jakarta Fair will be held for 33 days, from June 14 to July 16, 2023.
