Mothers Complain In Bandar Lampung Constrained To Register Their Children In School Via The PPDB System

The acceptance of new students (PPDB) at the vocational high school level did not run smoothly in Bandar Lampung City, Lampung Province.

Eva Hartati, a resident of Bandar Lampung City, admitted that since Monday, June 12 morning, she has tried to enter the data needed for PPDB registration online or online. However, he encountered problems when registering his children in school.

"It was constrained at stage two, to enter sub-district data," he said.

"I've tried to write my hand on the menu, choose the sub-district, but always fail to enter the next stage," Eva continued.

Fitri, another resident of Bandar Lampung City, also had difficulty entering sub-district data when he was about to register PPDB via online.

"After all I fill in the menu in stage two, including the sub-district option by writing it myself because there is no choice, after clicking, I still can't do it with a notification 'check your internet connection and try it for a moment'," he said.

Another Bandar Lampung resident, Tommy has tried to register many times in the morning online but has not been able to complete the PPDB registration stage.

"Since 08.30 WIB I tried to register but couldn't, then came to the school to find out. But the school's explanation was because the server was down," he said.

Meanwhile, Deputy Head of SMKN 4 Bandar Lampung Darvin said that the implementation of PPDB registration on the first day was hampered by server problems.

"In the group, the server problem was discovered at around 09.00 WIB," he said, quoted by Antara.

He hopes that the server provider can immediately overcome the disturbance.

"This year's PPDB all uses online channels. Even if someone goes to the school because they don't understand and later we will direct them," he concluded.
