Receiving KAHMI's Visit, Jokowi Gives An Explanation About Political Cawes In The 2024 Election

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) gave an explanation of the political problems in Pmeilu 2024 when he received the ranks of the Alumni Corps of the Islamic Student Association (KAHMI).

This was revealed by the Presidium Coordinator of the KAHMI National Assembly, Ahmad Doli Kurnia, after meeting with President Jokowi at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Monday, June 5.

"Earlier, he conveyed clarification about jokes, so the context is that the President actually wants to convey to anyone who will be the successor or the president and vice president in the coming period, it must have the same perception in dealing with reality that is not easy, but the opportunity is big," said Doli.

Doli said that currently is a momentum for Indonesia to be able to get extraordinary jumps because this nation has resources that can bring Indonesia to become a developed country.

Therefore, he said, all parties must be involved, including the President.

"I think the involvement is how to convey messages for the benefit of the nation and state, as well as the progress that will be achieved," he said.

Doli continued, "He is well aware of his position as President, Head of State, and Head of Government. He is also aware that the political process in the general election involves the leaders of political parties that the President is also not in."

In the context of chaos, said Doli, it is involvement to ensure that all parties understand the situation and conditions and are determined to continue to be a better country.

In addition, he continued, Jokowi also expressed hope that whoever is the president and vice president who will be elected can continue Indonesia's efforts to jump into a more advanced country.

"That is in the next 10'13 years. This transition process must of course be maintained together, becoming a positive, productive thing to be the progress of the nation and Indonesia in the future," he said.
