President Jokowi Conveys Eid Al-Fitr Greetings to Indonesian People from Solo

SOLO- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) plans to gather with his family after carrying out the Eid al-Fitr prayer at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Solo, Central Java.

"Usually, we're a low-key family. We have lots of siblings", he said in Solo, Saturday, April 22.

On this occasion, Jokowi also conveyed greetings for Eid al-Fitr 1444 H to all Indonesian people.

"I convey to all Indonesian people, from Sabang to Merauke, from Miangas to Rote Island who are celebrating Eid al-Fitr today, happy Eid Al-Fitr 1444 H, sorry to be born and inner heart", he said.

Asked about the Eid prayer he performed at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, he said this was the first Eid prayer held by the mosque.

"Today is the first Eid Prayer held at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Solo, I am in Solo so Id Prayer is here", he said.

The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, also wished the whole community Eid Al-Fitr. "Same with Mr. President, happy Eid Al-Fitr, Forgive me body and soul", Ganjar said as quoted by Antara.

On that occasion President Jokowi was also accompanied by First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo and their youngest child, Kaesang Pangarep, together with his wife, Erina Gudono.
