BOGOR - D-4 Lebaran, the price of beef in a number of traditional markets in Bogor Regency is creeping up. The price of meat in traditional markets has reached IDR 160 thousand per kilogram.

At Cileungsi Market, for example, the price of beef increased by Rp. 10-20 thousand per kilogram from the previous price which was priced at Rp. 140 thousand per kilogram.

"The fluctuations are very fast. In Cileungsi Market, some beef sells Rp. 150,000 to Rp. 160 thousand per kilogram," said Bogor Regent Iwan Setiawan during a Sudden Inspection (Sidak) to the Cileungsi Market, Bogor Regency, Tuesday, April 18.

Meanwhile, for the stock of goods itself, said Iwan, it is still safe. Currently, he said, the local government and the central government continue to strive according to their abilities, ensuring the availability of goods.

"For the availability of basic necessities in Bogor Regency, it is guaranteed until D-1 Eid, goods are still available even though there are price fluctuations, especially beef," he explained.

Meanwhile, the price of chicken and eggs at Cileungsi Market has decreased. This can be an alternative for the community if beef is considered too expensive.

People still have a choice, if meat is not reached, it can go to chicken meat, eggs or advertisements. Don't force it. Thank God the chickens can still be controlled," said Plt. Bogor Regent.

Meanwhile, Cileungsi Bayu Market staff explained that beef prices had indeed increased significantly from a few weeks ago at a price of Rp. 135 to Rp. 140 per kilogram, currently reaching Rp. 160 kilograms.
