After his girlfriend served guests, he said, the perpetrator who was also a pimp and Michat operator asked for fees ranging from IDR 50,000 to IDR 100,000 every time he went on a date.

Furthermore, Kasatreskrim said that based on the results of the examination, the online prostitution case had been going on for almost a year.

In fact, one of the victims with the initials A admitted that she had lived with the perpetrator at the hotel for 10 months.

In connection with this case, the suspects were charged with Article 2 of Law Number 21 of 2007 concerning the Eradication of the Crime of Trafficking in Persons with a penalty of 15 years in prison and/or Article 12 of Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning Crimes of Sexual Violence with a penalty of 15 years prison.
