The House Of Representatives Holds A Plenary Meeting On The Opening Of The Trial Period This Morning

JAKARTA - The House of Representatives (DPR) held a plenary meeting to open the trial period today, Tuesday, March 14. The 18th plenary meeting for trial period IV for the 2022-2023 session will start at 09.30 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB).

With the agenda for this plenary meeting, the DPR RI officially ended the recess period which ended on Monday, March 13, yesterday. The DPR itself has entered a period of recess to visit their respective constituencies on February 17.

The agenda for the single plenary meeting this time was only listening to the speech by the Speaker of the DPR RI, Puan Maharani.

The leadership of the DPR promised to follow up on several bills of law (RUU) which had previously been delayed during this session.

Previously, Deputy Speaker of the DPR RI Dasco said that his party would discuss the Draft Shrimp Protection for Domestic Workers (RUU PPRT) at the Leadership Meeting (Rapim) and the DPR Deliberative Body (Bamus) after the recess.

"Later we will after this recess period is over, this recess will end on March 13, we will schedule the Rapim and Bamus to discuss various matters that are still hanging or have not been completed during yesterday's session," said Dasco at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, February 27.
