President Zelensky Calls Vladimir Putin Will Be Inspired By The Inner Circle

JAKARTA - Russian President Vladimir Putin will one day be killed by his own inner circle, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

President Zelensky's comments were featured in a Ukrainian documentary entitled 'Year', as reported by The Times.

His prediction comes after President Putin warned his people they might not survive as a country if Ukraine won the war.

"There will definitely be times when the fragility of the Putin regime will be felt within the country," President Zelensky said in the documentary.

"And then predators will prey on predators. They will find a reason to kill a killer."

Some analysts say it is unlikely that President Putin's inner circle will move against him, as they owe him something.

President Putin recently accused the US-led military alliance of "disbanding the former Soviet Union and Russia", stating he had no choice but to take into account NATO's nuclear capabilities.

Ukraine's return to control over the Crimean Peninsula will be part of the end of the war, President Zelensky said on Sunday.

"This is our land. Our people. Our history. We will return the Ukrainian flag to every corner of Ukraine," the President wrote on Twitter.

Separately, CIA Chief William Burns said Sunday, President Putin was "too confident" with his military ability to crush Ukraine.

Burns director told CBS Putin believed that "he can make his time work for him, that... he can destroy Ukraine, that he can weaken our European allies, that political exhaustion will eventually occur."

"At some point, he also has to face increased costs, with the coffin brought back to some of Russia's poorest areas," Burns said.
