PAN Confirms Puan Maharani Will Meet Zulhas In Early March

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Viva Yoga Mauladi, confirmed that there was a plan for a visit by the Chairperson of the PDIP DPP who is also the Chairperson of the DPR, Puan Maharani, to meet the General Chairperson, Zulkifli Hasan.

Viva said that the visit had been conveyed by the PDIP and would be carried out in March 2023. However, he could not confirm the date of the meeting of the two elite political parties.

"Looking for the right time, hopefully, it won't take long," said Viva, Tuesday, February 14.

It is known that information about the meeting between Puan and Zulhas was previously revealed by the Chairman of the PDIP DPP Said Abdullah. Viva said that news from Said would be conveyed to the party management and the chairman to set a date.

"Early March, did Mr. Said say? We will tell you the date later," said Viva.

Viva admitted that actually there had been communication between PAN and PDIP for a long time about the visit. It's just that the two parties are still looking for the right time because Puan is busy as Speaker of the DPR and Zulhas as Minister of Trade.

"There has been communication, it's been a long time, just because Ms. Puan is busy, and Mr. Zulhas is busy, he's still looking for time," said Viva.

Previously, PDIP DPP Chair Said Abdullah said Puan Maharani would continue her political safari by meeting with PAN Ketum Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) and with Acting Chairman PPP Mardiono. The meeting is planned for next month.

"God willing, in early March we will meet with the PAN Chairman. After that we will meet with the PPP Chairman," Said explained, Monday, February 13.
