DKI BUMD Commissioners In Heru Budi's Era Were Filled With Retired Generals From The TNI-Polri, Here's The Provincial Government's Explanation

JAKARTA - For more than three months leading Jakarta, Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono has reshuffled the leadership of a number of DKI regional-owned enterprises (BUMD).

In this reshuffle of positions, Heru also appointed a number of retired TNI and Polri generals as commissioners and supervisory boards in the company owned by the DKI Provincial Government.

Responding to this, the Acting Head of DKI Jakarta Regional Owned Enterprise Development Agency (BP BUMD), Fitria Rahadiani, revealed that basically removing and appointing company leaders is a form of refreshment.

Meanwhile, several retired officers who were appointed by Heru in the position of BUMD commissioners, continued Fitria, were assigned to supervise and advise the board of directors.

"The DKI Provincial Government feels that some of those on the board of commissioners or board members are currently considered qualified to supervise and advise BUMDs," said Fitria when contacted, Wednesday, February 8.

Based on VOI's investigation, the retired generals appointed by Heru Budi were Lt. Gen. Dodik Widjanarko as the Main Commissioner of PT MRT Jakarta and Inspector General of Police (Purn) Bambang Kristiyono as Commissioner of PT MRT Jakarta.

The two were appointed by Heru at the MRT Jakarta circular general meeting of shareholders (GMS) on October 25, 2022, or a few days after Heru took office as Acting Governor of DKI.

Dodik is a former Commander of the Army Military Police Center (Danpuspomad). Meanwhile, Bambang is a former North Kalimantan Regional Police Chief.

Furthermore, Heru also appointed Inspector General of Police (Purn) Luky Arliansyah as Plt. Main Commissioner of PT Transjakarta at the GMS on 11 January 2023. Luky previously served as the Main Police Intelligence Agent Tk II Baintelkam Polri.

Then, Major General TNI (Purn) Suko Pranoto was appointed as Chair of the Supervisory Board of Perumda Pasar Jaya as of January 27, 2023. Suko previously served as Intelligence Assistant to the Army Chief of Staff.

Then recently, Heru appointed Komjen Pol (Purn) Suhardi Alius as Commissioner of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol at the GMS per 1 February 2023. Suhardi had served as Head of the National Police's Criminal Investigation Agency (Kabareskrim) several years ago.
