Serpong-Kalideres Angkot Driver's Attempt To Touch A Passenger's Thigh Makes The Police Curious To See The Video

TANGERANG - A viral video on social media showing a female passenger with a public transportation (Angkot) driver on the Serpong-Kalideres route. In the video, you can see the bus driver trying to touch the female passenger's thigh. However, none of the passengers screamed when they saw the harassment incident.

"It happened before my very eyes. The driver takes the car recklessly. I want to scream, but I'm afraid something bad will happen, the problem is that there are only 3 passengers in the car," said the video recorder, seen Friday, February 3.

Contacted separately, the Head of Public Relations of the Tangerang City Metro Police, AKP Abdul Jana, admitted that he had not received any reports regarding the incident. However, he said he would investigate the harassment case.

"While there has been no report regarding the incident that occurred on a bus that goes to Serpong-Kalideres-West Jakarta, we are still investigating the scene of the incident," said Jana in a text message, Friday, February 3.

He also appealed to the public, if they experience an incident of crime or harassment, to immediately report it to the police, in order to take further action.

"Remain alert, then if you experience a criminal act immediately report it to the isolated police or call center," he concluded.
