The Department of Settlement and Land Housing (Disperkimtan) of Cianjur Regency, proposed the making of a Decree (SK) to the Regent of Cianjur.

The decree is for 200 families (KK) from 496 families who will be relocated from seven villages in two sub-districts of Cianjur and Cugenang.

Cianjur Earthquake Disaster Management Spokesperson Budhi Rahayu Toyib said the placement of residents' relocation was based on a statement of relocation readiness that had entered the local government (Pemda), while for houses to be relocated around 496, only 200 units were ready to be occupied.

"There are two bases that are the basis for determining the relocation, based on the building base and those who have submitted the statement of readiness to be relocated first. For the time being, it is still based on building seeing from the Head of the Family in one house whose condition is seriously damaged," he said in Cianjur, West Java (West Java), Thursday 2 February, confiscated by Antara.

Budhi explained that the 496 houses that will be relocated are located in 7 villages in two sub-districts, Nagrak Village in Cianjur District, Cijedil Village, Cibulakan, Benjod, Sarampad, Mangunkerta and Gasol in Cugenang District.

However, for the initial stage, he said, his party had just submitted 200 families and the rest were still waiting for re-verification.

The submission of a decree to the Cianjur Regent regarding residents who will be relocated, said Budhi, is also based on the name that entered earlier so that it will be included in the proposed regent's decision letter as recipients of relocation houses that are ready to be occupied in Cilaku District as many as 200 housing units.

"Furthermore, the names of residents who are ready to be relocated will be proposed by the Cianjur Perkimtan Service to the Cianjur Regent to obtain approval in the decree regarding the relocation of residents. Meanwhile, the rest of the three other villages in Cugenang District are still being collected and re-verified," he said.

After the regent's decision is issued, he added, it will be proposed to the Ministry of PUPR to be handed over to regional assets.

"After that, the regent then handed over the building to each name that was already in the decree," he said.

He hopes that after the decree is issued, residents who have obtained the right to the relocation house can fill it in the third week of February.

"If you want to symbolically hand it over, we will follow the day or time set by the center at the end of this month," he said.
