A landslide occurred on a cliff at the back of the Rest Area KM 429 Semarang-Solo toll road in the Ungaran area, Semarang Regency, Tuesday, January 31. A spokesman for PT Trans Marga Central Java, Dian Saputra, confirmed that landslides occurred due to rain that flushed the area. Landslides occur around gas stations in the rest area. "It is true that in the rest area 429, in general it does not interfere with toll road services," he said, quoted from Antara, Tuesday night. The rest of the avalanches, he said, only disrupted activities at the charging pump for Solar and Dexlite. He also confirmed that there were no casualties in the incident. "The operation of rest area is safe, currently cleaning is being carried out," he added. Meanwhile, to anticipate further landslides, access to rest areas for large vehicles under landslides is temporarily closed. Access to exit for large vehicles in the rest area will be diverted.
