Not In Accordance With Ridwan Kamil's Directives, Dewi Sartika Depok's Underpass Is Precisely A Place For Motorbike Children

JAKARTA - Jalan Dewi Sartika's underpass in Depok, which was inaugurated on Tuesday, January 17, has instead become a hangout for a group of residents who mostly carry motorbikes.

This moment was caught in the video uploaded to the Instagram account @infodepok_id. Several young people and their motorbikes were stopped on the side of the underpass road.

"Dewi Sartika's Underpass monitoring this morning at around 03.24 WIB, many motorists were parked on the side of the road," said the Instagram account, Saturday, January 21.

Seen in the video too, the youths who stopped also charged their motorbikes. This is certainly dangerous.

"There is already a prohibition that Dewi Sartika's Underpass is not a place to hang out because it is prone to accidents," wrote the account.

"The road was created as a passing vehicle road," they continued.

For information, the underpass, which is the result of cooperation between the West Java Provincial Government and the Depok City Government, has a length of almost 1 kilometer. The inauguration was attended by the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil.

In his remarks, Ridwan Kamil asked that the underpass be guarded. Do not let this tunnel become a new gathering place for residents.

Not only that, he also advised not to let any ignorant hands commit acts of vandalism.
