KUDUS - The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, is touched by the togetherness and mutual cooperation of the people in Kudus Regency in dealing with the flood disaster. Especially when he visited the Muria Kudus Christian Church, Tanjungkarang, Thursday, January 12.

The GKMI Tanjungkarang evacuation went viral because of the atmosphere of religious tolerance that was created there. Because apart from accommodating Christians, the church also accepts residents who are Muslims.

"Yesterday it went viral, so when I was passing by, it seemed GKMI Tanjungkarang Kudus and this was what was being used for the evacuation site," said Ganjar.

The beauty of solidarity

Refugees who are Muslim are allowed to use the hall to pray. While the general kitchen is assisted by teachers and students from SMK Assa'idiyyah 2 Kudus.

"So yesterday there was a spectacle that went viral, so the refugees were accommodated in the church, they were cooked here, they also worship here, it feels like everything is beautiful. Thank you all," he said.

On that occasion, Ganjar Pranowo appealed to residents and disaster stakeholders to pay attention to the condition of the refugees. From his observations, some began to complain of itching, ISPA, and abdominal pain.

"There will certainly be many diseases that have the potential to infect those in evacuation, so we also ask for control of the health team. Thank God, every post has a good health team," he said.
