Investigate Allegations Of Weighing The Jambi COVID-19 Fund, Attorney General For The Office Of The Sarolangun Health Office-BPKAD

JAMBI - The Sarolangun District Attorney's Office (Kejari) searched two locations related to the alleged irregularity in the operational budget for COVID-19 vaccination activities in Jambi for the 2021 fiscal year.

The two locations that were searched on Wednesday, November 16 were the Health Office (Dinkes) and the Sarolangun Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) were searched.

"In addition to disclosing cases of operational costs for COVID-19 vaccination activities, the team is also looking for data on cases of eating and drinking food and drinking activities for handling COVID-19 in Sarolangun," said Head of the Information and Legal Section (Kasi Penkum) of the Jambi Attorney General's Office, Lexy Fatharani, quoted from Antara, Thursday, November 17.

Lexy said the search was related to alleged irregularities in the process of handing over operational funds for COVID-19 vaccination activities in the work area of the Puskesmas, in the form of shopping for food and drinks for field activities and spending on official trips in the city at the Jambi Health Office.

From the search, the Kejari managed to secure a number of evidences, including documents on the Accountability Letter alias SPJ, BKU, documents on the withdrawal of COVID-19 operational money and documents for the disbursement of funds (SP2D).

Lexy added that the search at two official offices at the Sarolagun Regency Government was based on the Search Order Number: Print 1724/L.5.16/Fd.1/11/2022 and had been carried out in accordance with the laws and regulations governing the search, namely Article 32-37 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
