KALTIM - The Governor of East Kalimantan Province (Kaltim) Isran Noor said that the City of Balikpapan and Samarinda City will be developed into a triangle city or a triangle area together with the stages of the construction of the Nusantara Capital or IKN.

Isran explained, Samarinda, Balikpapan, and IKN will continue to be developed into one IKN sustainability ecosystem in the North Penajam Paser and Kutai Kartanegara areas.

"The people of East Kalimantan are able to play a role, especially the driving force and economic growth in the IKN area," he said.
So far, DKI Jakarta has been supported by provinces and regencies/cities on the island of Java. Therefore, IKN in North Penajam Paser and Kutai Kartanegara must also be fully supported by regencies and cities in East Kalimantan to all provinces in East Kalimantan and surrounding provinces.
