Expected To Act In Accordance With Law, General Andika Says GM FKPPI Can Reduce Potential Conflicts

JAKARTA - The TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa conveyed a message to the Young Generation of the Retired TNI/Polri Communication Forum (GM FKPPI) to become role models in upholding the rule of law or adherence to legal regulations.

"GM FKPPI can also help the TNI, Polri, and the government in general by setting an example that in acting or dealing with any problem, it must be done in ways that are based on laws and regulations or rules of law," said Andika, quoted from the TNI General Andika Perkasa's YouTube channel, Thursday, July 21.

Andika Perkasa reminded the GM of FKPPI to set an example so that people act in accordance with the laws and regulations. Thus, GM FKPPI can reduce tensions, potential conflicts, and divisions.

The Commander in Chief said that the TNI is trying to evaluate themselves to be better so that they can walk on the rails of the laws and regulations properly.

"This is also a lot of dynamics, so we also hope that FKPPI through its network will also provide direction to the sons and daughters of the TNI/Polri, which essentially must adhere to the laws and regulations," said Andika.

Regarding giving directions, the TNI Commander said that his party was open to criticism, suggestions, and input from GM FKPPI in order to improve performance.

"We are also full of imperfections," he said.

He revealed, the statement when receiving an audience with GM FKPPI led by Chairman of the Central Advisory Council (Wantimpus) GM FKPPI Ahmad Basarah.

During the meeting, Ahmad Basarah conveyed that the presence of GM FKPPI was ready to assist and accept the direction of the TNI/Polri to carry out their duties as a form of service to the State.

"We are very grateful for all the efforts and dedication that have been given to the Indonesian people. It is also part of the real evidence of GM FKPPI's work," he concluded.
