Central Java Hajj Pilgrims Who Died In Makkah 10 People In Total, Arrived In Indonesia July 17

JAKARTA - The Solo Debarkation Hajj Organizing Committee (PPIH) reported that the number of pilgrims from Central Java Province who died in the Holy Land had increased by two to 10 people. All of them arrived in the country last Sunday, July 17th.

Based on data from the Integrated Hajj Information and Computerized System (Siskohaj) at the Donohudan Hajj Dormitory in Boyolali, Central Java, on Monday, July 18, the two last members of the Hajj congregation who died in the Holy Land came from Kudus.

According to the Solo Debarkation PPIH Public Relations Coordinator Sarip Sahrul Samsudin, the two members of the hajj pilgrims are members of a flying group (kloter) 8.

Fanani Machfudz Masrichan (62) from Karangmalang, Kudus Regency, reportedly died of heart disease while undergoing treatment in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday, July 16 at 03:24 Arabia Standard Time (AST).

Sungkono Samian Ngasifan (59) who came from Work, Kudus City, also died of heart disease while undergoing treatment in Makkah on Sunday, July 17 at 05.30 AST.

"The bodies of the two deceased worshipers were buried in the Sharae cemetery, Makkah, Saudi Arabia," Sarip said, according to Antara.

Sarip said that 14 members of the pilgrims from Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta are still being treated in hospitals in Saudi Arabia due to illness, with details of six people being treated in hospitals in Saudi Arabia and eight people being treated at the Indonesian Hajj Health Clinic (KKHI) in Mecca.

PPIH Debarkation Solo on Monday morning has repatriated 360 hajj pilgrims from Jepara and Grobogan Regencies to their respective regions.

The hajj entourage in flying group 4 landed at Adi Soemarmo International Airport in Boyolali on Sunday (17/7) at 23.09 western Indonesia time.

"The Hajj group 4 from Jepara and Grobogan was after the handover ceremony from PPIH at the Donohudan Hajj Dormitory to regional officials and then immediately returned to their respective regions, on Monday morning," said Sarip.

The Solo Debarkation until Monday had sent back four groups of pilgrims consisting of 1,437 people to their respective regions and were still waiting for the arrival of about 14,000 more hajj pilgrims from Saudi Arabia.
