Police Arrest Perpetrators Of 2 Group Clashes In Denpasar

DENPASAR - Denpasar Police, Bali, arrested the perpetrators related to the clash of two groups on Jalan Dukuh Sari, Gang Merpati, Pendungan, South Denpasar.

The perpetrators were named Stefanus Pandang alias Stefen, Yandris Ngongo, Marselinus Dangi Kasi, Denisius Kere Wee alias Dodi, Andreas Bolu Jara, Sapri Buka, Yosafat Bani brow Jhon Kei, Danial Kariam, Artono Riam Bali Peka.

"We have managed to apprehend the perpetrators of the crime, extortion, and beatings with 10 suspects", said Denpasar Police Chief AKBP Bambang Yugo Pamungkas, Thursday, June 23.

The riot was triggered by a dispute over the debt. At that time someone named Elis collected a debt of IDR 2 million from Ode.

Coincidentally, Jhon Kei also came to the location to collect debts from Ode. At that time, Jhon Kei snapped at Elis, who was also collecting debts from Ode.

From here, the telephone exchanges between groups occurred, causing a commotion.

"For this incident, the victim reported the incident to the Benoa Regional Police. The victim suffered injuries to the left cheek and injuries to the back and sides of the head. For the first time, the suspect collected a debt at Ibu Ayu's shop in Benoa. Then, there was an offense and a beating occurred", he added.

The commotion continued on Dukuh Sari Street, Gang Merpati, Pendungan, South Denpasar.

"(For the first crime scene) three people were beaten up. So we arrested three people. At the second crime scene there was a criminal act of extortion and beatings and assaulting the victim with eight perpetrators", he said.
