MAKASSAR - As many as 10 victims of KM Ladang Pertiwi which drowned in the waters of the Makassar Strait have been handed over to their families at Parappa Pier, Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi.

"It arrived at around 18.12 WITA and will be handed over to the families of the victims," said Head of the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) of South Sulawesi, Djunaidi, quoted by Antara, Saturday, May 28.

The victim had previously floated in the ocean and was rescued by two ships. They were taken to Sanronengi Island, Tanakeke, Takalar Regency, after receiving information from the TB Sabang 25 ship which also managed to save seven passengers.
