JAKARTA – The death of Golkar Party figure Fahmi Idris, Sunday, May 22 in Jakarta, brought deep sorrow to the banyan party cadres. One of them is Bambang Soesatyo, Chairman of the MPR RI.

Bamsoet emphasized that he was a cadre educated by Fahmi Idris. "I testify, I am an educated cadre, in this house I was trained by him," said Bamsoet at the funeral home at Jalan Mampang Prapatan IV Number 20, South Jakarta, Sunday.

According to Bamsoet, Fahmi Idris is a figure of three eras from the Old Order, the New Order to the Reformation. A role model who inspires a lot.

"A figure who has set an example, as a businessman or a bureaucrat, a figure who has given color to this nation," he emphasized.

He promised to continue Fahmi Idris' struggle to achieve justice in Indonesia.

Bamsoet invites all Indonesian people to pray for the late Fahmi Idris so that all his sins are forgiven and given the best place in the sight of Allah SWT.

The late Fahmi Idris was buried in Flat 048 block A1 Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery (TPU), South Jakarta, Sunday.

Before being taken to the Tanah Kusir TPU, Fahmi Idris' body was buried at the Mampang Prapatan IV funeral home Number 20, South Jakarta.

A number of political figures were present at the funeral home, namely the 10th and 12th Vice Presidents of the Republic of Indonesia Jusuf Kalla, Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly Bambang Soesatyo, Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan, chairman of the Golkar Party Advisory Council Akbar Tanjung and Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives Rahmat Gobel. .

Professor Fahmi Idris bin Idris Marah Bagindo died at around 10.00 WIB. The deceased was the 20th Indonesian Minister of Manpower and Transmigration under President BJ Habibie.

Furthermore, the 22nd Indonesian Minister of Industry in the United Indonesia Cabinet (2004) under President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).
