Geely Coolray at GIIAS 2026, Appearing Aggressive Thanks to the Touch of Drift Garage

JAKARTA - Geely Auto Indonesia not only announced the price of the Coolray at the 2026 GIIAS exhibition, but also featured the modified Geely Coolray with Garasi Drift.

Geely Coolray appears more aggressive thanks to the Racing Style concept presented. This shows the potential of Geely Coolray as a flexible car for personalization.

Geely Auto Indonesia Sales and Channel Development Director, Constantinus Herlijoso, said the Geely Coolray has the right character for automotive lovers who want to display their style and preferences through the cars they use.

"This collaboration is a way to show the lifestyle side of Geely Coolray, as well as showing its potential as an interesting model to be developed further. We want to present Geely Coolray not only as a vehicle, but also as part of the identity of its users," he said, in an official statement received, Sunday, August 2.

With the Racing Style concept, the car looks more assertive through a motorsport-inspired livery. To complete the look, this unit uses the Rays ZE40 19-inch rims combined with Michelin Primacy 245/45 R19 tires.

In terms of braking, the Geely Coolray is equipped with a Brembo Big Brake Kit to provide a more optimal response. In addition, the use of a lowering kit lowers the vehicle height by about 5 cm, resulting in a lower and more proportional posture. The overall appearance is then refined with custom add-on lips that further emphasize the character of this car.

"After trying it directly, I saw that this car has a fun character to explore. In terms of appearance, the basic design is sporty, so it is suitable for development in the direction of modification," said Ziko Harnadi, International Drifter & Co-founder of Garasi Drift.

The Geely Coolray is equipped with a 1.5L Turbocharged engine combined with a 7-Speed Wet Dual-Clutch Transmission (7DCT). The combination of 174 PS of power and 290 Nm of torque delivers a quick driving response. Armed with a character design and modern technology, the Geely Coolray is a model suitable for collaboration with the Drift Garage.

GIIAS 2026 visitors can see the results of the Geely Coolray modification with Garasi Drift at the Geely 7D Booth, Hall 7, ICE BSD City and experience the driving experience through the test drive session available during the exhibition.
