BMKG Predicts Light Rain In North Jakarta

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts light rain at the port in DKI Jakarta on Monday, May 16 2022 until 07.00 western Indonesia time.

Quoted from the BMKG page, at 05.30 western Indonesia time, Jakarta Tanjung Priok Port is expected to have light rain, wind speed from Southeast to Southwest, 4-10 knots, waves up to 0.5 meters, air temperature between 26 to 31 degrees Celsius and humidity 73 to 90 percent. Visibility is about 5 kilometers.

Light rain is also expected at Sunda Kelapa Port, Jakarta Marunda Port, Jakarta Kalibaru Port, Kali Adem Port - Muara Angke Jakarta and PPS Nizam Zachman Muara Baru Port Jakarta.

For this area, wind speed is estimated from Southeast to Southwest, 4-10 knots, waves up to 0.5 meters, air temperature between 26 to 31 degrees Celsius, and humidity of 73 to 90 percent. Visibility is about 5 kilometers.

While the waters of the Thousand Islands are expected to be cloudy, wind speeds from Southeast to Southwest are 4-10 knots, and waves are up to 0.5 meters.

In Jakarta Bay, light rain is expected, wind speeds from Southeast to Southwest 4-10 knots, and waves up to 0.5 meters.

In the western part of the Java Sea, light rain is expected, wind speed from Southeast to Southwest 5-15 knots, and waves up to 0.5 to 2.5 meters.

In general, the wind in Bangka Belitung waters generally blows from the Southeast to the Southwest with wind speeds between 4 - 15 knots. The wind in the northern part of the western part of Java waters generally blows from the Southeast to the Southwest with wind speeds between 4 - 17 knots.
