JAKARTA - South Korean pop singer Daud Kim uploaded his photo while standing in front of the Kaaba at the Grand Mosque, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, in the midst of his Umrah worship he has performed since moving in 2019.
The K-pop star shared moments at the two holy mosques in Mecca and Medina, as well as a number of other moments during Ramadan in Saudi Arabia via his Instagram page.
He uploaded a photo of himself in ihram, the dress worn to perform Umrah by men, and wrote: "I am the luckiest person because Allah (SWT) has chosen me and Allah has brought me here. Previously, Daud also uploaded a photo of himself in Medina, precisely when he was at the Prophet's Mosque last week, while saying 'Ramadan Mubarak' to his followers.

He revealed that his trip to Indonesia a few years ago inspired his curiosity to learn about Islam when he met 'kind Muslims' and veiled Muslim women, who helped shatter stereotypes of oppression attached to the hijab.
