There Was A Student Demonstration, These 7 Trains Did Not Depart At Gambir Station, But In Jatinegara

JAKARTA - PT KAI Operation Area 1 Jakarta has changed the place of departure for 7 long-distance trains from Gambir Station to Jatinegara Station today.

"During normal times, trains departing from Gambir Station do not stop at Jatinegara Station. However, specifically on Monday 11 April 2022, there are 7 trains departing around 09.00 to 16.00 western Indonesia time which will stop at Jatinegara Station to serve up and down passengers," said Head of Public Relations of PT KAI Operation Area 1 Jakarta Eva Chairunisa in a statement, Monday, April 11.

Eva said that the transfer of the departure station was adjusted to avoid delays by passengers due to demonstrations around the Arjuna Wiwaha Horse Statue and the Medan Merdeka area.

This is done to make it easier for prospective train passengers so that they are not affected by traffic jams when they are going to Gambir Station and experience delays. Eva emphasized that the departure time of the train from Gambir Station had not changed.

"With the arrangement of the special operating pattern, it is hoped that customers can avoid the risk of congestion that may occur due to the diversion of traffic flow to Gambir Station and have the option of being able to depart from Jatinegara Station," she said.

Furthermore, Eva reminded train service users who would board from Jatinegara Station that there is no antigen service at Jatinegara Station.

"Users who need an antigen examination to meet the requirements according to the circular letter 39 of the Ministry of Transportation in order to carry out the process before arriving at Jatinegaran Station," she explained.

- The 20F Argo Cheribon train departs from Gambir Station at 09.40 western Indonesia time.

- The 48F Argo Parahyangan train departs from Gambir Station at 10.10 western Indonesia time.

- The 50F Argo Parahyangan train departs from Gambir Station at 12.30 western Indonesia time.

- Train 7002 Argo Sindoro Additional departure from Gambir Station at 13.05 western Indonesia time.

- Train 40 Argo Parahyangan departs from Gambir Station at 15.30 western Indonesia time.

- Train 74 Brawijaya departs from Gambir Station at 15.40 western Indonesia time.

- Train 12 Argo Sindoro departs from Gambir Station at 16.25 western Indonesia time.
