Jokowi Cabinet Reshuffle Issue, Gerindra: If There Is, Will It Be Wednesday Or What Day Depends On The President

JAKARTA - The issue of a cabinet reshuffle or reshuffle will be held tomorrow by President Joko Widodo. The issue of reshuffle re-emerged because tomorrow coincides with Wednesday Pound.

The daily chairman of Gerindra DPP Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, said the cabinet reshuffle was President Jokowi's domain. But if it is true that there is a reshuffle agenda, said Dasco, then Jokowi is free to decide whatever day.

"When it comes to the reshuffle, of course, that is the authority of the president. Whether the reshuffle is on Wednesday, or what day depends on the president, if there is one," said Dasco at the DPR building, Tuesday, March 22.

Regarding the composition of the cabinet, the Deputy Speaker of the DPR assessed that the quality of the current ministers is only Jokowi who knows. According to him, the president certainly has the names of his assistants who perform and those who don't.

"The problem is okay or not, it's the president who knows. But surely the president will read the dynamics in society, and related to the dynamics that exist in Indonesia," said Dasco.

"It will be an assessment material for the president if there is a reshuffle to then consider which ones are kept and which ones are rested," he continued.

Previously, the Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Johnny Plate admitted that there was a limited meeting scheduled at the Merdeka Palace tomorrow, Wednesday, March 23. Ratas is said to be discussing the evaluation of the implementation of the Mandalika MotoGP.

"Tomorrow afternoon I have an invitation to the meeting. If it's a meeting, the president will lead a cabinet meeting unless the president is outside the region," Johnny told reporters at the DPR building.

"The average invitation must be a related problem. One of them is regarding the implementation of the Mandalika MotoGP, the other has not yet been discussed," he continued.

However, Johnny admitted that he was not aware of the reshuffle agenda. According to him, that is the authority of President Jokowi

"If there are evaluation results that need to be repaired or completed or even replaced, it is the president's authority," he said.
