Babysitter Who Died Due To Electrocution Of A Water Heater At The Pulomas Elite Housing Was Brought Back To Wonogiri

JAKARTA – The body of SM (51), a babysitter who died due to the electrocution of a water heater in the elite housing estate of Pulomas Barat 12, East Jakarta, was immediately brought by the family to be buried in her hometown in Wonogiri. The woman who had worked for her employer for two years died along with a 1-year-old toddler.

Fauziah, the younger sister of victim SM (a babysitter) said that she would take her older sister's body back to the village.

"(SM's body) to be brought home by the family to Wonogiri, Central Java, for burial. My sister (the babysitter), she has been working for two years," she told reporters, Sunday, March 20, evening.

Fauziah said that when she was found dead, the four victims were still in the bathroom.

"(The victim's body) is still in the bathroom. (The victim) There are 4 people in the bathroom," she said.

Previously, residents of West Pulomas were shocked by the deaths of four residents of the house on Pulomas Barat Street, Pulogadung, East Jakarta. The four victims consisted of father, mother, child, and babysitter.

Pulogadung Police Chief, Commissioner of Police David said his party had checked and processed the crime scene. They have not yet collected witnesses.

"This is just the initial interrogation at the crime scene. The investigation will still be explored. The victim's family is still grieving now. The plug (water heater) for the stun gun is scorched black," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a tragic event was experienced by a family consisting of husband, wife, and children with the initials BG (37), NB (29), and EA (1) on Sunday, March 20, evening.

They died after it was strongly suspected that they were electrocuted from a water heater in a bathroom in their house, which is located at Pulomas Barat Street 12, No. 4, RT 003/10, Kayu Putih Village, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta.

Apart from that one family, a babysitter with the initials SM (51) also died along with the other family. As a result of the electric shock incident, a total of 4 people died.
