Banten Police Chief Explains Vaccination In His Region Has Reached 85.91 Percent

SERANG - Vaccinations that have been carried out in the jurisdiction of the Banten Police so far have reached more than 85.91 percent. This was conveyed by the Banten Police Chief Inspector General of Police Prof. Dr. Rudy Heriyanto during the Precision Booster Vaccination and distribution of basic necessities to 500 workers, Wednesday, March 9.

This precision booster vaccination was attended by 500 employees. The Banten Police Chief responded positively to the implementation of the Persisi vaccination at PT Polyplex to support the acceleration of the COVID-19 vaccination.

"The implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination is carried out simultaneously in all Polda to accelerate vaccination for employees," said Rudy in a message received, Wednesday, March 9.

Furthermore, Rudy explained the readiness of the committee and the enthusiasm of the community.

"As we know, the committee has prepared 1,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine and 25 vaccinators consisting of 15 Polri, 5 TNI and 5 Health Offices. We can see that employees are enthusiastic about getting vaccinated today, even though they are carrying out work activities, but this does not dampen the enthusiasm of employees," said Rudi Heriyanto Adi Nugroho.

The Banten Police Chief hopes that the simultaneous implementation of the COVID-19 Vaccination Program can prevent the increase in the number of new cases and reduce the fatality of the impact of COVID-19.

"Through this simultaneous vaccination, we hope that there will not be an increase in the number of confirmations and reduce fatalities," said the Regional Police Chief.
