JAKARTA - PDI-P politician Ruhut Sitompul criticized the actions of Chairman Jokowi Mania (Joman) Immanuel Ebenezer who was a witness in the trial of the alleged terrorism case with the defendant former General Secretary of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Munarman.

Immanuel came to the trial as a witness with a personal initiative to relieve the defendant Munarman at the East Jakarta District Court on Wednesday 23 February.
The trial was scheduled for Munarman to bring witnesses or experts to relieve the defendant. The trial was closed due to security reasons for the prosecutor and the judge.
In this case, the former chairman of the Indonesian Legal Aid Foundation (YLBHI) was charged with mobilizing and planning other people to commit acts of terrorism.
Munarman was charged with three articles, namely Article 13 letter c, Article 14 Juncto Article 7, and Article 15 Juncto Article 7 of Law Number 5 of 2018 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Terrorism.
