Adies Kadir Emphasizes MKGR Organization's Support For Airlangga Hartarto In The 2024 Presidential Election

JAKARTA - Adies Kadir and MKGR cadres, once again reaffirmed their support for Airlangga Hartarto as a presidential candidate in the 2024 Presidential Election. This was conveyed by the General Chairperson of the MKGR Ormas at the Inauguration of the Maluku Province MKGR DPD Board of Directors, in Ambon Sunday (20/2/2022).

"We, at the previous MKRG Mubes, had made a decision for MKGR to unanimously support the future presidential candidate, Mr. Airlangga Hartarto. So as long as there are no significant things, of course, MKGR will direct the "vehicle" to Pak Airlangga Hartarto," said Adies, which was greeted with loud applause from MKGR cadres who attended the event.

Adies hopes that this support is also understood by all members and cadres of the MKGR Ormas everywhere. He hopes that there will be strong solidity in supporting Airlangga's candidacy. "Just because the slogan is solid, then MKGR must be solid!," said Adies, which was greeted with applause and yells from MKGR members.

In the inauguration ceremony for the Chairperson of the Maluku MKGR DPD Organization for 2021-2026, Rasyad Latuconsina, Adies reminded the big task of the MKGR Ormas to always play a role in providing social assistance to people in need. In this role, the Secretary of the Golkar Party Faction also stated that the MKGR could not work alone.

“There are many programs both from the center and from the regions themselves. So if this is put together then the people in Maluku can be prosperous. But if we go our separate ways, we can go the wrong way. The governors and regents or regional heads are the ones who know best where this assistance is directed," said Adies in a release received by VOI.

The inauguration ceremony was also attended by the Governor of Maluku, Murad Ismail. On that occasion, Adies also stated that so far MKGR is an organization that has always supported government policies, both central and provincial.

“I hope that the MKGR mass organization can also become a communication bridge between the mass organization and the Golkar Party and the provincial government. Because we have always supported the government, especially since the Golkar Party has never been outside the government,” said Adies.

In terms of supporting the government, Adies stated that he is ready to support whoever is leading the current government. Although in the previous regional elections in Maluku, Golkar had other candidates, but after being elected, MKGR is ready to support the current officials.

"Golkar has always supported the government, the "match" thing only happens during the Pilkada, and it has already been completed. Let's build our region together, build our country together for the progress of Maluku and the progress of Indonesia. That's MKGR, because our philosophy is Gotong Royong,” said Adies, who is also the Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party's DPP for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs.
