JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan today summoned his staff for a meeting to discuss the evaluation of the implementation of 100 percent face-to-face learning (PTM), which is currently still being held.
"Our PTM is still evaluating. Today, we, the Governor and the relevant agencies will have a meeting. We will evaluate and continue to take steps, perfecting existing regulations," DKI Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria told reporters, Wednesday, January 2.
He revealed that after the meeting with his subordinates, Anies would report the results of the meeting to the central government to take further steps regarding the evaluation of PTM.
In this regard, Riza revealed that his party continues to improve facilities such as the ICU, medicines, vitamins, and oxygen along with the increase in COVID-19 cases.
"Most importantly, no matter how good the regulations, the presence of the apparatus and the severity of the sanctions given, it all depends on the community itself. As citizens, we must always stay at home as the best place, obey the procedures and responsibilities," he explained.
Previously, Anies stated that he would monitor the PTM process 100 percent. This monitoring is a follow-up to President Joko Widodo's request to evaluate the current PTM process.
"We are continuously monitoring," said Anies at the Hian Thian Siang Tee Palmerah Temple, Tuesday, February 1.

According to Anies, one of the factors to be considered in tightening community activities is hospital occupancy. So, it is currently under the supervision of the provincial government to determine steps related to PTM.
"Well, when there is an increase in hospital occupancy, the control is to reduce mobility. That's been an experience for one and a half years, almost two years. So now we are continuously monitoring hospital occupancy," said Anies.
