Starting From One Linting Marijuana, South Tangerang Police Arrest 8 Major Bandars In Bintaro

TANGSEL - As many as eight people have been named as suspects in the case of drug trafficking in South Tangerang. The South Tangerang Police Chief, AKBP Sarly Solly, said that the disclosure of this case began with the development of one roll of marijuana, to 24.2 kilograms.

Sarly revealed that the eight suspects had the initials AK, ZF, IM, NA, JA, EF and AR. They distribute marijuana in the Bintaro area, South Jakarta.

"Starting from information from residents about the existence of narcotics transactions in the type of marijuana in the Bintaro area, South Tangerang. Then continued development in the South Jakarta area. And at that location, AK, ZF, IM and NA were arrested." said Sarly to reporters at the South Tangerang Police, Friday, January 21.

Furthermore, the police carried out developments in the areas of Depok, Bekasi and West Jakarta to arrest JA, EF and AR.

Sarly also explained that this network is an old player, and the police are still pursuing LB and EL who are already on the wanted list (DPO).

"Their method of selling these illicit goods is online and COD," he said.

Sarly said, the evidence that was secured reached hundreds of millions, excluding the price of the 5 cellphones confiscated as evidence.

"So the total amount of drugs that are secured if accumulated is IDR 350 million," said Sarly.

The suspects are subject to Article 114 Paragraph (2) and/or Article 111 Paragraph (2) and-or Article 132 Paragraph (1) Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, with the threat of death penalty, life imprisonment or imprisonment for a minimum of six years and maximum of 20 years.
