POSO - The Greater Madago Task Force led by the Central Sulawesi Police Chief, Inspector General Rudy Sufahriadi, carried out air patrols and combed the bulkhead post to hunt down the remaining Poso terrorist suspects who were on the wanted list (DPO).

The air patrol to monitor the movement of DPO members of the East Indonesia Mujahidin (MIT) Poso was followed up with ground operations to search areas in Sigi and Poso Regencies.

"In the morning, we carried out air patrols to the Manggalapi Insulation Post, the Tagara Pursuit Post, and the Tea Water Pursuit Post in the Sigi Regency area", explained Central Sulawesi Police Chief, Inspector General Rudy Sufahriadi, in Poso quoted by Antara on Thursday, January 20.

Rudy said the air patrol was carried out to monitor the movement of the rest of the East Indonesia Mujahidin (MIT) Poso wanted list which is suspected to be still hiding in the Sigi, Poso, and Parigi Moutong Regencies.

The air patrol was then continued with land patrols visiting the Gayatri Block Post, Tambarana Block Post, and Timbunhan Block Post in the Poso Regency area.

"The search is still focused on capturing three more DPOs", said Rudy.

The operation will continue to be intensified until the three DPOs can be arrested or surrendered, he said.

The air and land patrols carried out by the Central Sulawesi Police Chief are not only monitoring the movement of the remaining DPOs but also encouraging the task forces in bulkhead posts in the Operational Area of Madago Raya.

"We encourage those who have helped and protected the community", said Rudy.

The air and ground patrols to hunt down the remaining Poso terrorist DPOs were followed by the Head of Operations for Madago Raya, Karendalops, and Commander of the Central Sulawesi Police Mobile Brigade Unit. The air patrol this time used a Police helicopter.

“I urge the three MIT Poso wanted lists to immediately surrender so that they can be legally processed. If they don't surrender, we will continue to intensify this operation until the three are arrested", said Rudy.
