JAKARTA - Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Tjahjo Kumolo said he would remove honorary staff from government agencies. Tjahjo explained that temporary workers who are currently still working in government agencies will end in 2023 at the latest.

"To meet the needs of very basic jobs, such as cleaning service, security, etc., it is advisable to fulfill them through outsourcing with general costs, and not payroll costs," he explained.

Meanwhile, Tjahjo added, the Government in 2022 prioritizes PPPK recruitment to meet the needs of ASN in the education and health sectors.
