Ganjar Invites Young People To Remember The History Of Majapahit

JAKARTA - The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo visited the celebration of the 32nd Birthday of Maha Vihara Mojopahit in Bejijong Village, Trowulan District, Mojokerto Regency. He said Maha Vihara Mojopahit has a great history of the glory of Majapahit.

Ganjar said that the celebration of Maha Vihara Mojopahit's 32nd anniversary provided clear evidence of religious tolerance in Central Java. He said the place has a history of that event which finally united the archipelago.

"Remember Trowulan must remember Hayamwuruk and his patih, Gadjah Mada. The message to be given is how the Palapa Oath is to unite the archipelago. Now, yes, unite Indonesia," said Ganjar Pranowo.

Ganjar said that when Hayamwuruk led accompanied by Gadjah Mada, Majapahit became a powerful kingdom. His government cares about the small people, is firm, and builds agriculture well.

"This means that an agrarian state has been realized at that time," said Ganjar.

Related to this, Ganjar hopes that the history of Majapahit will be preserved. One way is by the younger generation or millennials studying the history of the glory of Majapahit.

"We, the next generation, can learn. Will Indonesia be as good as Majapahit again? Of course we can, because the history is here," said Ganjar.

Meanwhile, the Head of Maha Vihara Bhante Viryanadi expressed his happiness at Ganjar's arrival. According to him, this birthday celebration was complete with the arrival of the number one person in Central Java.

"Of course I feel proud, feel happy. Pak Ganjar is a person who really cares for others. I see Mas Ganjar has very strong tolerance, his nationality and diversity are also good," said Bhante.
