Kadin Dualism Is Considered Part Of The Consolidation Of Power

Political observer Ikrar Nusa Bhakti considers that the dualism of leadership in the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) after Arsjad Rasjid was coup by Anindya Bakrie is part of the consolidation of power carried out by Joko Widodo and Prabowo Subianto.

So, I see that Kadin is still controlled by Arsjad, which is considered to be detrimental to the government later," said Ikrar, Sunday, September 22, 2024.

In addition, he also suspected that the Arsjad coup by Anindya was part of a political overthrow exchange scheme between Jokowi and the elite of the Golkar Party, in this case Aburizal Bakrie (Ical). Because, Ical could give support to Jokowi or Gibran Rakabuming Raka to become the Board of Trustees in the Golkar Party after Anin became Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Ikrar believes that if Jokowi participates in orchestrating the election of Bahlil Lahadalia as the new chairman of Golkar. Although until now he has not occupied an important position in Golkar, Jokowi was predicted to be the chairman of the Golkar Board of Trustees.

It is not impossible, he said, Jokowi is trying to make Gibran serve as a strategic position in Golkar, considering that the former Surakarta mayor was not a party after being fired from the PDI-P.

He emphasized that Kadin would not necessarily be the last organization to be 'diobok-obok' by the authorities. Other organizations that are considered contrary to the authorities are said to have experienced a similar fate. There is a desire from Jokowi to carry Gibran as president in 2029. Now it depends on whether Aburizal Bakrie is able to appoint Jokowi as chairman or coach of the Golkar Party," concluded Ikrar.
