After the report was received at the Makassar Basarnas Com Center at around 17.00 p.m., said Djunaidi, Basarnas personnel equipped with a team of divers were immediately dispatched to search for victims.
The first day of the search, the victim had not been found, so the search effort was temporarily suspended and resumed this Wednesday. The search team managed to find Zakir's body at around 11.45 a.m. at a depth of two meters by divers from a distance of 200 meters where the victim fell and drowned.

"Both of them have been evacuated to the Tompobulu Health Center. With the discovery of these two victims, the SAR operation is declared closed and all elements return to their respective agencies," said Djunaidi who is also the SAR Mission Coordinator.

Previously, the family looked for their whereabouts because they had not returned. The victim's uncle then found the footprints of a small child on the riverbank and called residents to join in the search.
