SEMARANG - Three cars were crushed by a large Angsana tree that fell after strong winds hit the Semarang City area, Central Java.
Central Semarang Police Chief, Kompol Untung Kistopo, confirmed the unfortunate incident that happened to a car parked on Pleburan Barat Street, Semarang City.
The three cars that were hit by the tree were a Toyota Avanza with license plate number H 1364 S, Daihatsu Terios license plate N 1132 R, and a Honda Jazz license plate number H 1681 PW.
"There were no casualties in the incident", he said, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, January 11.
According to him, provisionally the cause of the tree collapse was due to a porous tree trunk.
