ACEH - Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) I Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati visited minors who were victims of rape by 14 youths in Nagan Raya Aceh Regency. I Gusti Ayu said the victim was still traumatized.

"My arrival to Aceh is a form of concern and concern for the disaster experienced by the victim," he explained in a written statement received in Banda Aceh, Antara, Monday, January 10.

Minister I Gusti Ayu admitted that he was very concerned about the incident experienced by the victim. from the mother's confession, the victim often screamed at night because she was overshadowed by the events that took place in December 2021. He hoped that this would be the last case in Aceh's Nagan Raya Regency.

According to him, Nagan Raya Regency will not be able to become a child-friendly district if similar cases (rape) continue to occur in the future.

He also invited all parties to continue to assist the recovery process experienced by rape victims in Nagan Raya Aceh Regency. Bintang added, the victim admitted that he still wanted to continue his education. The spirit of this victim will be facilitated by the PPPA Ministry.

Prior to Nagan Raya, Minister I Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati also visited the Class II B Penitentiary in Meulaboh, West Aceh Regency to meet two rape suspects who are currently being held at the local prison.

There are also suspects who have been detained, each with the initials RJ and J, both of whom are around 12 years old. After the meeting with the two suspects, Minister Bintang Puspayoga looked sad and rushed into his official vehicle.
