Ahok And Ganjar Reported Again To The KPK, PDIP Nillai Usually Occurs Before The Political Year

JAKARTA - PDI-P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto suspects that the reporting of two of his cadres, Basuki Tjahja Purnama alias Ahok and Ganjar Pranowo, to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is related to politics. Moreover, this report was carried out ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

"We point out that this is inseparable from various political dynamics in the context of the upcoming 2024 presidential election," Hasto told reporters in Jakarta, Friday, January 7.

As the political year approaches, Hasto continued, this kind of incident is common.

"Because before the political year, there are those who use this as a yes, political issues," he said.

Even so, Hasto ensured that his party would not be disturbed by the reports of alleged corruption. He also emphasized that the PDIP had never intervened in law enforcement.

"The KPK must move, the prosecutor's office must move, the police must move, the court must give the best decision based on the substantive aspect of justice. That's what we encourage," said Hasto.

As previously reported, the former governor of DKI Jakarta, who is also a PDIP cadre, Basuki Tjahja Purnama alias Ahok, was reported to the KPK. This report was submitted by the National Axis for the Eradication of Corruption (PNPK) on Thursday, January 6.

After submitting his report, the Presidium of PNPK, Adhie Massardi said, there were a number of cases involving Ahok's name that were reported to the KPK. One of them is related to the purchase of the Sumber Waras Hospital land and a number of other allegations.

"One of them is related to the purchase of the Sumber Waras Hospital, the purchase of own land in Cengkareng, then there is CSR, and reclamation and others," Adhie told reporters at the KPK Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

In addition, PNPK also asked the KPK to explain the involvement of Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo in the e-KTP corruption case. It is known that the name of the PDIP cadre was also dragged away because he is a former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission II.

"The PNPK asks to enter the political year, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will explain whether there is a reward for being involved in e-KTP? Erick Thohir, Luhut (Binsar Pandjaitan) or not, Airlangga Hartarto is involved in a pre-employment card or not, Anies (Baswedan) (involved, ed) Formula E is not. That's all there is to it , said Adi.

"If he is guilty, he will be arrested immediately. Otherwise, it will be declared clear so that in the future there will be no more black campaign on this issue, it must be opened," he concluded.
