Tagulandang Island Still Dark Gulita Post-Eruption Of Mount Ruang

MANADO - The condition of Tamulandang Island, which is close to the Island of Ruang, is still pitch black after the eruption of Mount Ruang in Sitaro Islands Regency, North Sulawesi.

The condition of the Tamulandang port in Bahoi Village was only illuminated by lights from the Bima Sena SAR KN. The lampposts in line along the pier have not yet been electrified.

"The blackout is estimated at 01.00 WITA this morning," said Anex Tatulus, a resident of Mintawang Village during an interview at the Talugandang Port as reported by ANTARA Tuesday, April 30.

He said the lights went out after the eruption of Mount Ruang which was more powerful than the previous eruption.

"There was a rain of stones, dust pebbles when an eruption occurred, the lights went out," he said.

In contrast to Yefti, who lives near the Bahoi pier, according to him, the conditions were tense, afraid and even restless after Mount Ruangu erupted again.

"When the eruption was rained heavily, rocks, sand rain, thunder. We panicked," he said.

Until 22.02 WITA after KN SAR Bima Sena docked, the lights in residential areas around the Port of Tamulandang did not turn on. From the port, it can only be seen from a distance of four points, such as something that shines dim in residential areas in the north.
