Semarang Health Center Successfully Failed Vaccine Fraudster, Promised To Be Given IDR 500

JAKARTA - Semarang Police Resort (Polrestabes), Central Java, dismantled the trial of the COVID-19 vaccination jockey practice carried out at the Manyaran Health Center, West Semarang.

The Head of Semarang Polrestabes Kombes Irwan Anwar said the trial of the vaccination jockey practice which was conducted on January 3, 2022, was revealed when the public health center (puskesmas) officers screened potential vaccine recipients.

This action began when a candidate for vaccine recipient Christin Lusiana (37) a resident of Griya Beringin Asri, Ngaliyan District, Semarang City, received an invitation to carry out vaccinations at the Manyaran Health Center.

On the scheduled day, said Irwan, it turned out that Christin had a need to go out of town so she could not carry out the vaccination.

The complaint was submitted to Irvanti Oktaviany (48), a neighbor of the perpetrator who then introduced Diah Subdari (41) to replace receiving the vaccine injection.

In the agreement, he continued, there was an offer of some money from Christin to Diah. "I was promised IDR 500 thousand to be a vaccination jockey," he said.

The act was revealed when the health center staff checked the identity of the candidate who received the vaccine.

"From the results of the examination, it turned out that there was a discrepancy between the identity and physical condition of the candidate for the vaccine," he said as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, January 5.

The incident was later reported by the health center to the police.

The perpetrators themselves were snared by Law No. 4 of 1984 on the control of infectious disease outbreaks.

For their actions, the perpetrators themselves have been mediated with the Manyaran Health Center. The perpetrators, he continued, have apologized and promised not to repeat their actions.

"CL herself was vaccinated the day after the incident at the Manyaran Health Center," he said.
