General Fakhiri To His Subordinates: Your Presence In Papua To Serve The Community

Papuan Police Chief Inspector General Mathius Fakhiri opens the binlat for 2,400 Police NCOs at SPN Jayapura, Monday (3/1).

JAYAPURA - The Papuan Police Chief Inspector General Mathius Fakhiri asked the National Police to eliminate violence while on duty, especially when helping to solve community problems in this province.

Eliminate violent methods by prioritizing communication in solving any problems that occur between communities, said the Kapolda.

"Your presence in Papua is aimed at serving all the people," said the Regional Police Chief at the Opening of the 2021 Police Officer Noken Development and Training at the SPN Bse G Jayapura Field, as reported by Antara, Monday, January 3.

The Police Chief advised that in carrying out their duties, they must be able to accommodate all the aspirations of the community.

"We must have a heart, always be disciplined, maintain good speech, and be simple. You are strictly prohibited from consuming alcohol and must be closer to the community because you are 99 percent of the population in Papua who must already know quite a lot about cultural and environmental characteristics," he said.

The Police Chief reminded them to be more careful in carrying out their duties. The coaching and training (binlat) was attended by 2,400 Polri NCO personnel which will last for a month.
