Found, The Body Of A Man Floating In A Swimming Pool At Grogol Petamburan Without An Identity

JAKARTA - Police from the Tanjung Duren Police, West Jakarta found the body of a man floating in a swimming pool on Jalan Kyai Tapa, Grogol Petamburan District, West Jakarta on New Year's Eve, Friday, December 31, 2021. The body was found at 17.00 WIB, in a condition already die.

"Based on witness statements, the body was found floating in the swimming pool this afternoon, wearing only dark trousers," said Tanjung Duren Police Chief, Commissioner Rosana Albertina Labobar, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, January 1.

The discovery of the body began when the pump officer saw a human body floating on its stomach in the stilling pool. The witness immediately contacted the police from the Tanjung Duren Sector Police to follow up on the finding of the man's body.

The police came to the location and immediately carried out the identification process. "From the results of temporary identification, the police did not find any identification marks on the victim's clothes," he said.

Police also have not found any signs of violence with sharp objects or blunt objects all over the victim's body. "We have not found any signs of violence and the identification process is still ongoing," Rosana said.

The unidentified body is thought to have drowned in the channel connecting Kyai Tapa and was carried to the tidal pool. Police from the Tanjung Duren Police, West Jakarta, have taken the body to the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) in Central Jakarta for further identification.
