JAKARTA - A woman with the initials DN had attracted attention. This is because she stated that she had received unpleasant treatment from members of the Bekasi Metro Police.

Where, the treatment that DN received was being asked by the police to arrest the alleged perpetrator of the abuse by herself.

At that time, DN with great emotion did not accept this treatment. The reason is that the alleged harassment case has been officially reported with the reported initials AY, on Tuesday, December 21.

Moreover, the victim in the report is her son who is still 9 years old.

In addition, at that time, DN heard the news about the alleged perpetrator, who was a neighbor, was going to Surabaya. So, she thinks AY will run away.

However, not long after, DN's attitude, which was previously full of anger, changed drastically.

Through a video recording, DN apologized to all ranks of the Bekasi Metro Police. Her attitude was previously mentioned because she had not received an explanation for the case she reported.

"Resort Police Chief, Deputy Police Chief, and all staff and investigators PPA, I also apologize because yesterday I was in an emotional state," she said in a video caption.

On a different occasion, the Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police Grand Commissioner E. Zulpan emphasized that his party would always receive and follow up on all reports. Especially if it is judged to meet the criminal element.

"So for those at the Bekasi City Metro Police, in principle, the Metro Police and the Resort Police of this line will respond to any complaints, reports, submitted by the public," said Zulpan.

In fact, the prosecution will also be carried out if the reporting has been equipped with strong evidence.

"Metro Police will also carry out fair law enforcement at the earliest possible tempo if the report submitted by the reporter is supported by evidence in accordance with the crime committed by the perpetrator," said Zulpan.

However, in the process until now the Bekasi Metro Police still lacks evidence. So, that's the reason why they didn't catch the culprits right away.

"Investigators have not got 2 pieces of evidence so that no arrests can be made for the perpetrators," said Zulpan.

Even this issue, said Zulpan, has been understood by DN. Where, an explanation has been given from investigators, starting from the procedure for handling cases to arresting the perpetrators.

"After being explained by the investigators, the reporter understood the investigator's explanation and admitted that she was emotional at the time, so she gave a statement to her media colleagues that the investigator ordered the reporter to arrest the perpetrator by herself at Bekasi Station," said Zulpan.
